Claremont Summer: Debate and Leadership/Professional Communication Institutes

How to Apply

To apply for the summer programs, you must complete the Common Application, Online Registration, and Payment. The details on how to send those materials are below.

  1. Download, print, and fill out the Common Application.

  2. Scan the completed Common Application.

  3. Complete the Online Registration Form and attach the scanned, completed Common Application.

  4. Prepare the check (payment).

    Payment is by check to ‘Claremont McKenna College.’

  5. Mail the hardcopy Common Application and payment to the following address. Do not staple checks or money orders to registration documents (attach with a paper clip).

All applications are by mail and only to John Meany. No other office at the college is involved in the application process. This method is done to ensure that applications and payments are received for Claremont Summer and students properly registered.

    Deadline Extended to June 1

    Commuter Student: $900

    Residential Student: $1,400

  • July 7-12 Middle School Debate 2

    Deadline to Apply: June 10

    Commuter Student: $900

    Residential Student: $1,400

  • July 25-August 1 Middle School Debate 3, SuperSession

    Deadline to Apply: June 24

    Commuter Student: $1,200

    Residential Student: $1,750
